What is QR Code?

QR Code is a 2D barcode that can store large amounts of information and can be quickly read by mobile phones or scanning devices.

Supported Content Types

  • Plain Text: Any text content
  • URL: Website link, e.g. https://example.com
  • Email: mailto:email@example.com
  • Phone: tel:+86-138-0000-0000

  • Business Card: vCard format

  • T: Encryption Type (WPA, WEP, nopass)
  • S: Network Name (SSID)
  • P: Password
  • H: Hidden Network (true/false, optional)

Notes

  • More content makes QR code more complex, suggest keeping within 500 characters
  • If content is long, suggest increasing QR code size
  • Keep QR code clear, avoid compression artifacts
  • Test if QR code can be scanned properly

Best Practices

  • Use short URLs when possible
  • Keep plain text within 200 characters
  • Use high resolution for printing (at least 300 DPI)
  • Keep appropriate white space (Quiet Zone)
